Over the course of the summer school there will be explorations of asana practice, movement theory, aspects of anatomy, meditation, and philosophical discussion in abundance! Workshops will be structured at the discretion of each teacher according to the needs of the group. The summer school is suitable for all yoga practitioners who wish to move forward and widen their knowledge and experience. (It is not suitable for complete beginners - if unsure please call.) Sessions will be full-on but fun, varied and vibrant, educational and challenging, nurturing and uplifting. The evening sessions will be less structured and a chance for other friends to join with us. The day time yoga workshops are limited to a maximum of 20 students per session. The meditation and evening sessions may be larger. To get the most out of the summer school we encourage you to enrol for the whole event. However, due to the feedback we have received from people who are unable to attend for the whole 5 days, from March we are opening it up so that you can attend on a daily basis. You will need to bring your own yoga mat and wear suitable clothing for asana work.
"Learning is finding out what you
already know. Doing is demonstrating that you know it. Teaching is
reminding others that they know it as well as you do. We are all learners,
doers and teachers." Richard Bach |
